New Jersey Lease Agreement Template
This Lease Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on the ____ day of __________, 20__, by and between ______________________ ("Landlord") and ______________________ ("Tenant"). The premises leased under this Agreement are located at _________________________________________ ("Premises"), New Jersey. This Agreement is governed by the specific laws applicable to residential leases in the State of New Jersey, including but not limited to the New Jersey Anti-Eviction Act, N.J.S.A. 2A:18-61.1 et seq., and the New Jersey Security Deposit Act, N.J.S.A. 46:8-19 et seq., where applicable.

6. Alterations

7. Subletting and Assignment
Tenant may not sublet the Premises or assign this lease without the Landlord's prior written consent, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.
9. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any previous understanding or agreement, verbal or written. Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
